Dutch football hit on the chin!

Ajax loses against Spartak Moscow, Spartak loses 5-1 against Porto! From Portugal. The land of C Ronaldo.
PSV loses 4-1 against Benfica. From Portugal. With a killer goal in the dying seconds.
Twente starts wonderfully against Villareal but loses 5-1. Our competition leaders against the Spanish subtop.
Holy Defensive Errors, Batman!
I was watching Twente. The first 15 minutes were impressive. Twente took the game to the Yellow Submarine. Theo Jansssen’s free-kick could have been a wondergoal.
Preud’Homme had put 5 defenders ( three center backs) on the team sheet.
He abandoned his vision. And defensive chaos was the result. Wisgerhof, Douglas…nice in the Eredivisie. Mannequins in Europe.
PSV is still in it. Winning 3-0 at home is feasible. But they do need every player to be top ( Lens? Dszudszak? Berg?) and they need Benfica to have an off day.
And this is what happens when clubs prefer cash over trophies. Lazovic was able to move last season: PSV lost the title. This year Afellay brought some cash in, PSV will be emptyhanded at the end of this season. No title, no European pride and certainly no national cup.

And great goal by Diego Biseswar
But you have to say Leroy Fer was man of the match. That guy was everywhere!
The title race is open again. I hope for a season ending like 3 years ago. I think Ajax has the best chances. Ajax is in a flow and they have the easiest upcoming matches compared to PSV and Twente.

What happened with Arjen Robben, why was he sent off?

I just watched the highlight of PSV/Heerenveen match from eredivisie.nl. Breathtaking runs and assists from Narsingh to setup both goasl (and both were at the expense of Dutch no. 1 LB Pieters). Could have easily had his third assist, but Bouma hacked him down with an American football-style tackle…
I’d say PSV was lucky to get away with a point. Their equalizer goal shouldn’t have stood as Toivonen fouled down the defender in the process of scoring.
Ajax v Twente, last match of the season, would be a cracking match!

JC is way over-rated.
It was the combined buying of Samuel Eto’o, Ronaldinho and later Deco that led to the (first) rise of Barca.
Not their youth academy; Barca spent ~750 million in the last decade, second only to Real Madrid.
Right now Barca also have non academy players like Abidal, Alvez, Adriano, Villa.
What Mourinho did with Porto is what dutch football really should look up to.
Forget about the entertainment/ total football philosophy nonsense, and build the most effective team(s) possible.
Another big performance by Clarence Seedorf. Score once and was in everywhere. Please back to Oranje and play on Euro 2012 with us
clarence is god,he’s definitely the best dutch footballplayer of the post-bergkamp era,but oranje is better without him.

DOF: i like dutch football for the entairtenement/total football philosophy, and don’t like teams playing only for the result. if i did i could support any other team. beauty first, results after.

Hello:
I am very concern about Eredivisie. The Eredivisie clubs performances in Europe demonstrate that our clubs are in another (and lower) level.
Ajax paid so expensive the act to sell Luis Suarez in the middle of the season. They lost the league and the Europe League. PSV did the same selling Affelay. And Twente… well, they didn’t sell any player, but this experiment they did in Spain (play with 5 defenses) was really bad idea.
Shit, after the world cup final, I can´t handle this defeats, even more when we lose against Spanish clubs.
I don´t kwon if you are joking about Benelux League, but I really think this is a necessary option to protect the Dutch football.
Great game PSV-Hereveen! Like is the first time I saw play Herenveen this year, I want to write some comments about the game:
1. Fred Rutten took my advice. He benched M. Berg and used J. Lens like central striker.
2. I wrote in preview post that I don´t like J. Lens like winger in the orange, because he is not the kind of wingers that I like (very fasters and very good in dribbling, like Overmars or Robben). But I have to admit, that he is one of the best PSV player this year, and he is improving a lot every match. Taday he did the first goeal and made the assist to the second one. Good for him.
3. L. Narsingh changed Herenveen face. When he came in second half the team improved a lot. Great player.
4. The best player of the game was Assaidi. He is very skillfully player. He can play for Orange or he chooses Marroquin nationality?
5. Dost was ok, he did his job. I am little disappointment about Beerens… but I can´t judge just for one game.
6. Pieters had a bad game… I´m concern about Orange left defense.
I am waiting feyenoord vs. PSV!!!!! I want the revenge!!!
@eduardo
@eric
Narsingh is a super-sub !! — I was totally impressed with his performance “Srinjoy” you are onto something!
If he keeps it up we may see him sooner rather than later in Oranje!
Pieters played very well (for virtually the entire game) he was in on the attack and defended very well
— but I admit he did have trouble with the speed of Narsingh. I was not unhappy with Pieters at all – yes he got burned but overall he is a big strong defender and an evermore confident presence on the attack.
@DOF – nope and no-way! entertainment and attacking first. Sorry but I completely agree with Ferenc. Oranje matches are so well played that I can watch them over and over and still be entertained with the skill, control, and flair with which they get the job done. BvM’s group isn’t always perfect – but right now they are damn close. IMHO the best in the world.
I hope to see other Dutch Clubs fight their way up to this level too. Cruyff is a good start, but like I said in an earlier post – it will get ugly before it gets better.

@Eduardo– I thought I read that Aissadi has declared his interest to play for Morocco. He was once called up by Gerets (Moroccon NT coach), but hasn’t made his debut yet.

Wissam – Arjen insulted the ref after the final whistle and got red carded. Probably called him a Bloody Dutch Ref, no worse insult than that for a German.
van Gaal “on holidays” now…which is a polite German way of saying “Rauuuusssssss!!” (You’re OUT!)

PERSIE ROCKS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS TIME AS A goal keeper..
Assaidi already played for Morocco, it’s a shame he and Aissati dont playing for Holland :S
Aissati, please.. that guy failed everywhere at top level.. sure at Vitesse he’s alright, but PSV/Ajax… he’s average.. nothing impressive..
Assaidi though.. he shouldve gotten at least an invite for U-21’s

The details are kind of sketchy on Aissadi. Wiki said he hasn’t had any caps with Morocco, yet I did notice that he did make his debut last month vs. Algeria. At any rate, I think it’s safe to say that Aissadi is no longer consideration for Oranje. Too bad, now I am banking on Narsingh to make an impact. BTW, looks like Heerenveen is building a solid reputation of producing wide players (kinda curious why, maybe because they stick with 4-3-3 system).. Sulejmani, Pranjic, Beerens, and now Aissadi and Narsingh.

Aissati is the hottest prospect at Eredivisie, his talent is much far of Eriksen talent, i’m sure, if Ajax give him another chance next season he going show all his potential. Just a advice: See one, just one, game of Vitesse!
