He either came on when things were already bleak or he was used as a winger in a 4-3-3 system. When he was used as striker in a more 4-4-2 system he scored! Foppe de Haan is my favorite of the Dutch coaches, and I hope the team has a successful Olympics. If they do win, my guess is that Foppe will retire. Why not, two successive Euro U-21s and an Olympic gold? Also, as Olympic television coverage of football has not been very good here in the US, at least we should see the US-Netherlands match. Maybe the other matches will be viewable through the internet. HUP HOLLAND!
