Who wants the title, part 2: the English Version

Goose, don’t worry: I’ll be ready in time…

Could it happen in the EPL too?

Isn’t that exciting?

ManUnited (I foresaw this) dropped points against the Rovers, 1-1. Edwin van der Sar was rested (groin injury) and Andre Ooijer was benched by the Blackburn coach (Mark Hughes if I’m not mistaken)… Anyway, Tevez scored the equalizer four minutes before the end.

Chelsea won against Everton earlier on and is three points behind. Next week, The Blues play the Mancunians. And Arsenal could be the laughing third.

The Gunners won 2-0 against Reading, with van Persie in good form. He ramsacked a free kick on the cross-bar and send in the cross that forced a Reading player to make the 3-0 in his own goal. This goal was disallowed for unclear reason, though.

So, exciting times ahead in England…

In Spain, the pressure on Frankie increases after Barca drew against Espanyol, 0-0. It seems the title is now officially out of reach for the Catalunyans.

Luca Toni scored two for Bayern Munich to win them the National Cup against Borussia Dortmund.

It’s going to be United. Even if Chelski beats them next week, the goaldiffrence is too big so in essence Man U has a 4 pt lead.

The last two games are somewhat similar with Utd having a slightly easier schedule. I don’t see any of Utd or Chelsea dropping pts in the last two games, which means Man U takes the title (and Ronaldo takes a dive).

Some interesting and obscure quotes on BBC from Sir Alex about building a “legacy”…I wonder if he finally is thinking retirement? Especially if they were to win the CL (which I do not think they will). Wouldn’t be surprised if he stepped down actually should they win the PL and CL. Not too much more to do is there?
