Vote Oranje Angel!! Bloggers unite…

Thank you Finnster… All of you, drop what you’re doing and vote our Angel:

Just checked the Norwegian newspapers and one of them is running a piece about who has the prettiest supporters in EC08…. Well, the Dutch candidate is no other than our beloved Oranje Angel!!!! Yeah baby!!!

If you scroll down the article, you’ll see photos of all the candidates. Looks like right now it is not just Oranje who came up short, but also our Oranje Angel. She is only lying third (behind Portugal & Italy). there are actually some real dog’s breakfasts in there too (like Spain, they surely can do better than that I would have thought…)

We should at least overtake Italy. Click on “Nederland” & “stem” (means vote) and lets see if we can’t catch up!!!

Jan, thanks for the referral to this “vote for the best” angel website. I see nothing but attractive, healthy young women, all of whom well represent their country. The Spanish rep is fine, my friend. Portugal is not the prettiest, but any could “win” and deserve it. A nice, light touch you give us following days of agonizing of why, why, why? This again lets us remember that the matches are only a part of this wonderful event.

It’s true. The EC and WC are supposed to be big festivals of different nations coming together in a peaceful, joyful way to celebrate sports! I still remember the Dutch of 1974, Brazil and Yugoslavia of 1982, the Danes in 1986, Portugal of 1984, the Czechs of 1996 and South Korea of 2002. Silverware is important, but the beauty of football is more than cups.

Would you rather have a team like Italy, with all their cups or do we settle for Holland… A better, nicer approach to football but less cups?

There’s only one team that can win, but this tourney, I already think this one is pretty good, I highly enjoyed watching Croatia, Deco, Sneijder, Russia, Servet, Casillas, Smolarek….

So we lost. Big deal…

I would vote for her to support the team, but honestly, I don’t think she’s very pretty guys… I don’t go for the “thick” girls…
In my opinion the girl from Italy is the prettiest… and so I abstained from voting

actually dont think Orange-Angel is that pretty..she doenst even look dutch

but eh; its a competition so we must win!! haha

ill take the sedish girl although its not the best picture…just good memories!! hahaha

I hate to say it buy the Italian girl is definitely prettier than the Dutch angel. I don’t know how the portuguese girl is first though, and I agree with Jan on the Spanish girl, surely they could do better.
