Van Basten: Robben injured, Boulah plays

Oranje will start in the same line up as it did against Italy and France. Khalid Boulahrouz will play as right back and Engelaar will play as holding midfielder. Arjen Robben was supposed to play but his groin injury has returned. Van Basten: “Arjen has trouble again. He won’t be fit to start and maybe I can’t use him at all.”
The match could be Marco’s last for Oranje is Russia wins. He will be succeeded after the tournament by Bert van Marwijk. “I realize that. That is extra exciting, in a way. If you’d know the result before hand, it wouldn’t matter of course, but it did cross my mind.”

Russia impressed Europe with their play as it did Van Basten. Although van Basten also saw the weakness of Sweden as a reason for Russia’s impressive victory. “The truth is in the middle, as we say. They’re good, but if we play our own game we can contain them. It will be like arm wrestling, really. Who has the courage to play their own game. It will be a real interesting match.”
