Paragnostics: Oranje will go far!

Honestly, I’ve been waiting for the right post to publish this pic.
So, we really think we know a thing or two about football? This is how you go about things when you consider betting on our team. This fun article is from www.ad.nl.
Will out boys snatch the title next month? Who can you ask better than a group of paragnostics? So, off we are, to the Paraview event in Rotterdam!
Henk van Munster, paragnost for 24 years, put his hand on the team photo and closes his eyes.
He sighs a bit, ponders for a while and then he says: “The group isn’t in balance yet. The first match against Italy will end in a draw. The confidence isn’t there, but a draw is not a total disaster. The tournament will start after that first match. The manager will make a chance in midfield for the France match and that improves the balance. (Is he talking Kuyt? Van der Vaart on the bench, Kuyt in the starting line up?). The France match will be tough. Aggressive. Rough. The French try to do what the Portuguese did at the WC. But Holland wins. Some players get injured, but we survive the group stages.” In the knock out round, Van Munster sees Van der Sar getting injured. “He hits the post with his head. It’s a shock, and he needs to be replaced. Stekelenburg will have a nervous start but with luck and help from defenders, he’ll keep the score sheet clean. There’s even a questionable ball, did it go in or not? A lot of discussions with the ref, but at the end of the match, Oranje wins 1-0. There’s a lot of 1-0 results this tournament.”
Van Miunster proceeds: “Oranje reaches the semis and everyone thinks the win is in the bag. Oranje plays sloppy and we will be defeated.” He slowly comes back from his trance. “Shit,” he says. “I hate this. I’d be so happy if we would win…”
Paul Botterman from Purmerent does see EC gold. We will reach the knock out stages with a lot of difficulties. One of our key-players will be seriously injured, but his replacement will do even better. We reach the finals and we will win.”
So, it’s either the semis or the finals. Let’s make sure and ask a third. Gerard Heutink from The Hague. “I won’t predict the future. That’s not my job. If you ask me personally, I don’t think we’ll make it past the group stages. And I don’t want to do this with you now. I’m a fan. I want to watch the gamrs live, I don’t want to know the results beforehand.”

I think I’d take pretty much all of them, but I need them on a bicycle first. After all this is Holland.
Girls posing as soccer/football players reminds me a bit of Italian soldiers in WW2 actually pretending to be soldiers. Very good at walking backwards, that’s for sure.

@finnster; mhahahahaha…very nice one on the italians…remember that the only succesful attacking they ever did was on some Ethiopions who defended themselfs with dried grass, guess thats why they stick to defending only nowadays in football.. (you should post it on the italian page on this blog, just to get things heated up)

@Jak… What :-)? There’s pictures of male flesh every post!!! Hotties like Oliver Kahn, Cristiano Ronaldo, Andre Ooijer, Avram Grant… Why the long face?
And check out the pics posted here earlier by Dutch artist Erwin Olaf. Oranje meets “300″… You’ll salivate!
You can link anything to your blog…Which blog is that?

Avram Grant in a Speedo would be scary. I don’t think even Erwin Olaf could to much with that.
Not sure if Oliver Kahn is less scary. He reminds me too much of the German tourists who put their towels down on holiday at the pool at 7 am only to go shopping and come back at 1 pm, jump into the pool and scare all the kids, whilst working out like the Olympics are just around the corner.
