He's big and pacey - no tired defender is going to want to see him come on. He's been playing the supersub role a fair bit at Pool this season so I'm confident he can do it for Oranje no problem. 14-1's good odds - I need to put some bets on too! I think he shows real promise. Unfortunately, he does not seem to be able to put a fully consistent 90 minutes in, and his crosses are very suspect still. Takes out the defenders Ronaldo style, crosses are terrible though but his finishing is good. So what he should do is just get in position and use his hammer and nail it rather than try to find the striker somewhere. He will be awesome for WC10, not sure if he has what it takes for this tournament though. Could do with a couple of more years between his ears. And I am a 'pool fan and seen every game this year. Very good and humble lad, with very little trouble off the field. Will be an Oranje classic in the future. Not sold on him performing in EC08 right now though.
