Holland beats Wales 2-0

Wesley does it again!

But…who really cares…?

It was the third warm up, the last one against a friendly and young Wales…

Robben scored the first goal and played a good game. Wesley Sneijder scored from a set piece and that was it, score wise. We could have scored more if we would have played it better and with a tad more sharpness.

But, why get all upset?

I’m not sure if there’s a lot more to talk about… Engelaar did very well. De Zeeuw wasn’t that impressive, etc etc…

I am getting fed up with these games. What is in it for us? The KNVB makes some money, the fans get to cheer the boys before the go to the Alps, hopefully Marco learns a lot of significant things at these games… All good….

But let’s get this show on the road and let’s eat some PASTA, some FROGS and some GULASH, for crying out loud…

BRING IT ON!!

Jan: one small correction: goulash is a traditional hungarian dish,nothing to do with roumania. on the other hand i have no idea what’s the typical roumanian food:-)

FYI: Romanian national dish: You should try MITITEI (Pronounced Meech-ee) – Minced Meat Rolls with aromatic herbs. Pretty decent actually.

@Goose, ha ha ha! You are spot on as usual!! Couldn’t agree more on the merits of the old herring. In fact, it is now lunchtime in the US and you have decided what I should pick up for lunch (although they don’t know how to do them as good as back home in the old country, some of the better delicatessens here does a decent impersonation). Cheers mate!!!
