Edgar Davids: Oranje wins the title!

Davids in an interview on the FIFA website: “Oranje will go all the way! They played the toughest games already, against France and Italy.”
“Now, they’ll go on an win the title. I am convinced of it.” Edgar Davids played his 74th and last international game three years ago, and thinks Oranje learned from the WC2006. “Those experiences helped the Dutch forward. The intrinsic qualities in this team are phenomenal. Exceptional. If they can stay calm mentally and keep the pressure at bay, they can beat any team.”
Davids (35) doesn’t want to compare with the Great Oranje of 1998. “Then, we had players who all had a huge career and big prizes behind their names. If you have too many stars, there’s too many ego’s. These kids are young and hungry. That is a big plus!”
Davids didn’t want to go into his own future plans. “I feel fit and I want to play on. But I can’t tell you where yet.”
Davids will leave Ajax this summer and is linked to Louis van Gaal’s AZ Alkmaar.
I heart Davids!!
