It's a concoction, a forced move, like a merger between two companies. They hardly ever work. The top brass decided this for monetary reasons... It's mixing culture, language, history... I can't see a real reason to do this, to be honest. Can someone who's in favour list the pro's? What are the assumptions? To assume = to make an ass out of u and me :-) I don’t like it. A lot is expectations, I guess. At NEC, there weren't a lot. And Been started with a young team with very promising but inexperienced players. It took 6 months for the team to gel, which is actually very quick... In the olden days, teams would take maybe years to form. NEC management never panicked. Too often these days coaches are sacked so early, or they lose the support of fans and the board and are just dying a slow death (like Jol at Tottenham).
