Mark van Bommel should watch his challenges

The Little General.

Tonight, Mark van Bommel needs to watch out against Zenit St Petersburg. The hot Bayern midfielder already has a yellow behind his name in the UEFA Cup. If he cops another yellow, he will be suspended for the finals in Manchester. But, before that all happens, Bayern will need to qualify.

Still, Van Bommel will go full throttle. The ever-motivated ex-PSV skipper wants to win the triple (title in Germany, national cup and the UEFA Cup).
The Cup is already in Munich, the title will follow soon and the chance on the UEFA cup is still in reach of FC Hollywood.

Zenit is being managed by Dick Advocaat and Cor Pot. Both Dutch coaches were pretty satisfied with the 1-1 in Munich last week.

Advocaat will have to miss three important players, Fernando Ricksen among others, due to suspension.

The other semi finals id being played in Florence, between Fiorentina - slayers of FC Groningen and PSV - and Glasgow Rangers, a former team of Dick Advocaat. The first duel ended in 0-0.

Do we need this in Oranje?

watched the game last night. Zenit played well and Bayern just couldn’t get anything right. van Bommel wasn’t up to much. Kahn’s last international fixture.

Well done Dick!
