The clubs were impressing. Not so much Ajax and Feyenoord. But NEC and Twente did very well.

I’m happy to read this news. Henk Timmer will be the second goalie, he is almost fit, so they’ll take a chance. I understand that Vorm will be part of the group and so will Dirk Marcellis! Well done, Bert!

Van Marwijk called Van der Sar Wednesday, with Frank de Boer, and later that day Sar called back to say yes, but only for those two games .

this time Feyenoord at least showed some heart! im esp. impressed with NEC, Mario Been seems to be a talented manager… i actually thought he would be the next Feyenoord manager but they chose Verbeek

Twente was a bit lucky with that offside-call of Stade Rennes, which it wasn’t, I thought, but I’m not complaining. Anyway… I’m pleased the Dutch clubs are through. Well done!

NAC Breda ought to be there after finishing 3rd in leaague last yr. Eredivisie playoff thing is a rip off joke.
