Van der Sar can win the title and the CL cup… Again!
Edwin van der Sar has a chance to repeat his most successful season ever, at 37 years old. The Oranje goalie is two games away from a third Champions League finals.
In 1995 he won the title in Holland with Ajax and he won the Champions League. In England he hopes to do the same. The title isn’t really a formality yet, but the Mancunians do have the best odds.
In the last months, Oranje wasn’t really on Sar’s mind. He focused fully on Man United and on winning prizes. Sar is still hungry. And after the EC, he will end his international Oranje career.
This gives him the opportunity to enjoy one full season with the Alex Ferguson Football Machine, a machine that eats up and spits out every opponent.
Manchester United is a healthy mix of Liverpool and Arsenal. It has the physical strength and tactical discipline of their arch enemy and the dreamy brilliance of Arsenal with pure football players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez.
Rooney and Ronaldo were rested against AS Roma. But no worries, because former PSV striker Park is completely back after a long injury. He replaced Ronaldo and Park was involved in most high brow actions. Ronaldo was rested but also protected. The Romans had declared that they would hurt Ronaldo where they could after his gallery play in Rome.
Park was this time the victim of the Roman brutalities. In the second half Perrotta slashed the Korean down from behind and was shown the yellow card without hesitation. Park couldn’t care less. He got op immediately and gave Perrotta a huge smile.
After a miss by De Rossi from the spot, it was Tevez who ended Roman hope. The Argentine scored the 1-0 after a Hargreaves cross.

ManU wont win cause Liverpool will!!
gonna be strange not to have Edwin in the goal anymore after the WC..kinda almost grew up with th guy in goal for Oranje…. think Stekelenburg needs to go abroad to further better his skills, he and Piet Veldhuis are our goalies for the future i reckon

I agree. They won’t even make it to the final, Barcelona’s passing game will prevail and they’ll win. Messi is much better than Ronaldo let’s see if he’s fit enough to prove that.
And I’d love to see Liverpool win it with Babel and Kuyt.

Manchester United are definitely going to win, they’ve been too strong for anyone to stop. This is comign from a Chelsea fan.
