The way Chelsea have come back in the Premiership this season and gone further than ever before in Europe, it would be a travesty if Grant were sacked.

Daily Star in the UK today reports that Rijkaard is the new coach of Man City. Sven will surely be fired (if there ever were any doubt) after the 8-1 loss to Boro, and Scolari has evidently turned down a very lucrative offer. Stay tuned on this one.

I watched both Man U and Chelsea today. Man U deserved the win (and winning the Prem overall) but they had the referee in their pocket for this game. Ferdinand had a handball that should have been a penalty, Rooney dived for their penalty, and Scholes should have been sent off in first half for a second yellow. Chelsea should have won by 4 goals. Horrible finishing. They seemed flat and not wanting it as much as Man U. That has to be on the manager. If they don't win the CL, Avram is surely gone. He may be gone anyway. Terry got hurt (dislocated elbow, don't know how bad it is though.

Anyway, what was more troublesome was that I thought EVDS had a terrible game. And his kicking surely not only is questionable, but has deteriorated significantly the last 6 months. Don't like that one bit going into EC08
