Kluivert studying to become coach

Patrick Kluivert has registred himself for the course Coach Pro Football in Zeist, starting this summer. The Oranje top striker will join Dennis Bergkamp, Phillip Cocu and Michael Reiziger, aiming to fetch the license within one year.

Kluivert (33 years old) is the only student still active as a player. The former Ajax, Barca and PSV player is currently employed by Lille in France.

Bergkamp (38) also played 79 games in Oranje and scored 37 times. Cocu (37) played 101 games for Oranje, Reiziger (34) played 72 internationals.

Bergkamp will do his practical exam at Ajax, invited by Marco van Basten.

Among the 21 students we also see names of ex-players like Alfons Arts (NEC), Adrie Bogers (RKC), Ton du Chatinier (FC Utrecht), Ernest Faber (PSV), Fred Grim (Ajax) and John Karelse (Newcastle United).
