As I have written in previous blogs, I do wonder about the leadership of Dutch football. Finnster states it well when he writes about this situation. 50 million football fans here in the US, with very, very few reading or speaking Dutch. That is why, KNVB, we want an English dimension to the website. Hello! Is anybody listening in Zeist? Do you understand the marketing possibilities if you get the website organized? Do you not like English speaking people? My ancestors spoke Dutch, but language is not inherited through our DNA and we have little opportunity to listen or read Dutch here in the US. Come on, KNVB, you can do it. Remember, the Dutch are known for persistence, intelligence and a "can do" attitude. The time is now, before Euro 2008, to step up to the plate (an American expression)and finally come through on your promises over the past 5 years. Go for it! Wouldn't you think they had figured out by now there are a substantial number of foreigners and next generation Dutch who are great fans of Oranje?
