Soccernet.com has a run down of the tactics likely to be used by the teams in Group C. The most interesting bits are at the end.

Interesting article. Agree that the use of substitues will be crucial. Okay, so this is my fantasy group story:

Start the SCG match with the first XI; watch out for 10 Dejan Stankovic (caused Ajax probs in the CL); use all three subs: two attackers and a midfielder. Get a win.

Start the CIV match with three changes in the line-up, one in each rank; watch for 11 Drogba; use all three subs, two attackers, one midfielder. Get a win and so (probably) qualify.

Start the ARG match with a skeleton of the first XI, rest main players. Use three subs. Result (with luck) irrelevent.

Go into the knock-outs with a rested squad, almost all of who have playing time.

Hup Oranje!
