Who’s your Golden Boot?

Skysports.com threw up a good article on the contenders for the Golden boot. The Dutch have never had a Golden boot winner which isn’t overly surprising considering their lack of success in the tournaments. They mention that Ruud has a point to prove and I couldn’t agree more. He missed out on WC2002 and was injured for Euro 2000. He was tied for second at Euro 2004 even though the Dutch managed to win only one game; they went through against Sweden on penalties in the quarterfinals, and only beat Latvia in the group. If Ruud finds his touch the Dutch will progress far and fast.
