Gloom and doom all round after the Euro Cup draw. What hope does Oranje have in a group with Italy, France and Romania ?

Scotland for sure plays anti-football, and I think Macedonia do too, but Iceland is normal, and Norway i haven’t seen a lot of, but from what I have seen, they don’t play anti-football.

I think this is one of the best groups for Holland to be in. None of these teams play destructive football like all of the Eastern European Oranje played during the EC qualification…

They should have an easier time.

Jan, what are these responses posted to your most current blog? They all seem to simply repeat the article you wrote–what gives? As long as van Basten is THE coach, he will do those things that national team coaches do, including traveling to SA for the WC draw. As to the Netherlands being ranked 9th in the world, that is as silly as the United States being ranked 18th. All part of the humor of international football!
