Vidic a wee bit Worried

June 10th, 2006 | By: Mike | No Comments »

Nemanja Vidic is suspended for Serbia and Montenegro’s first World Cup match against the Netherlands on Sunday. He knows the absolute class that resides in the man who hails from Oss. “air-tight marking” is the term used by Vidic when trying to describe how to nullify his threat. Nothing else will do. The strength of the Dutch however, in my most humble opinion, is their ability to create and score around the central striker. Man-marking is a strategy that won’t work against the Oranje. Each player on the pitch can turn the game at any moment.
