Van Gaal builds team around Ribery

Bayern München is considering filing a complaint at the FIFA for Real Madrid’s courting of Bayern star Franck Ribery. According to chairman Rummenigge, Real Madrid has had talks with Ribery and his management without the consent of the German football club.

“This has to stop now, otherwise we’ll slap them with a formal complaint,” the former striker says. He’s also sent a letter to Real chairman Perez, telling him: hands off!

Jorge Valdano, Real’s general manager, has recently declared to give up on Ribery. He also states that his club has played the game according to the rules and is not to blame.

Bayern manager Uli Hoeness blames Zinedine Zidane. “He constantly blabbers about how good Ribery would fit Real Madrid. He’s talking out of his arse. He doesn’t respect us. Zidane was great on the pitch, but off the pitch he thinks the rules don’t apply to him.”

Louis van Gaal already stated that he’ll build the new Bayern team around Franck Ribery. “He’s the playmaker, the creativity starts with him. I’m happy to make him important in this team. If he picks up the challenge, the leader role is his.”
