Van der Vaart…

August 19th, 2007 | By: Jan | 7 Comments »

A short title for this post is too hard… Van der Vaart…

He is the HSV hero…

Tempted to leave but exclaims his loyalty for the club and then signs a new contract

Months later, he does want to leave and right before the season’s start he tells the world.

HSV tells him to get used to the fact that he is going to stay.

Vaart plays in the first match of the season: half the stadium boo’s him, the other half cheers.

Van der Vaart scores the winner in the match and the whole stadium cheers again!! (with the HSV management thinking: see, we won’t let him go :-) )

Then a photo appears in the papers: Van der Vaart posing with a big smile AND a Valencia jersey: outrage ensues…

Van der Vaart quickly states to the press that it was a set up (duh…): some people gave him the shirt, wanted to take a picture, Vaart thought it would be fun, minutes after the picture was taken he felt he made a mistake (again: duh….) and wanted to take the picture back, but he couldn’t, blablablabla…

And Sylvie complaining that she can’t leave the house coz she is afraid….

GOOD GOD!

my oh my… this sounds like star academy behaviour, by both him and his wife.

nevertheless. i watched the match. he played professionally and well. So that perhaps can comfort me a bit on the other hand.

I hope this issue would be very soon resolved.

in other news, drenthe seems to have scored in his official debut against sevilla. Although the team is so far losing 3-2.

drenthe played very well, scored an amazing goal and in my opinion he was the best player for Madrid. In the other hand Sneijder didn’t appear much and will have to improve much more if he is to retain his titular spot, but he is still adapting.

van der Vaart should leave Hamburg for Valencia. He will grow a lot more in Valencia and will be in a very competitive squad. Anyway, let´s see what happens but I think is stupid for him to doing those kind of things because if he stays he can have the people of Hamburg against him.

i already posted this comment but here you go:

well, if he wanted to go to Spain he should have told the club before the start of competition in Germany!

im actually very dissapointed in vdVaarts behaviour..i thought he had grown up in Hamburg but i was wrong…to actually say your injured when youre not just so you can play Cham. Leg. with Valencia and force a break with Hsv is pathetic and not worthy of a captain
it was actually on the german news yesterday (ARD), everybody is pissed at him and so am i

i hope he is forced to stay at HSV, will see and learn much about his character then

actually Boula got injured during warm-up last year when HSV played Ueafa and so got his move to Chelsea where he could then play Cham. Leg., you see , the situation is more simular than you think..

shame on vdvaart!!

btw: it takes a brave man to take that penalty kick..ill give him that
