van Basten reinforced

Marco van Basten’s contract will be extended in order to keep him in the top spot until the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa, further reinforcing the notion that the KNVB wanted and expected this tournament to be a learning experience from which van Basten can take this team and mold them into a group of world beater.

I don’t think so, dear Mario. By that time the grand Figo is probably already out on retirement and you’re left with an oldtimer team, while the Dutch have build a solid young team. We shall have patience and see, first you should focus on getting your bottoms kicked by France.

Ooooooh, get a life will you? Jeez, there are more important things in life you know? Don’t you have a partner? A dog that needs a walk? A job???
