Transfers Pt 3
What did I tell you :-)?
A lot of Transfer news… I may just stop this rumour-repeating until there’s confirmation. Getting tired typing this all up.
Hans Robben, Arjen’s dad and manager, declared that Arjen will not move to Bayern but will sign a new 5-year contract with the Blues in the next weeks.
“Of course clubs are interested to learn if they can get Arjen to sign, that’s football. But we are not interested. Arjen enjoys Chelsea, works well with Mourinho and the rest of the staff and the team. We are looking at staying in London for a long time.”
Robben, who was the 11th Dutch man to win the FA Cup last Saturday, entered the team in the second half. He had some interesting dribbles and runs into the box, took two shots (deflected and blocked) and had to endure a severe tackle on the shins by Man United’s Brown. But he survived :-). In extra-time, Mourinho took his fragile midfielder off to get some fresh legs on the pitch.
Popquiz: name the other Dutchies to win the FA Cup. First one was Arnold Muhren… You get the rest… And no, Ishmael, Dick Nanninga was not one of them!!

that should be vanPersie 2005
btw: heared that Morinho was very impressed with robben, he thought he had become a real man… i was impressed with Robben during the Cham. leg. match v Liverpool when he took a penalty (and that for a dutchman!!), also was impressed with the FA Cup final..he was not fit to play, that was obvious but he tried and then after he got kicked really badly he still kept trying (even without whining!!) till Morinho had to substitute him.. hope he will not get injured that much next season..

this is what has been written about boulah on eurosport.com
one of the ‘best of the worst’:
“The Dutchman arrived in the summer, ostensibly as a replacement for William Gallas. Needless to say he failed. Boulahrouz’s hapless performances saw him cold-shouldered by Jose Mourinho, who instead preferred Michael Essien at the back. When he finally did return against Arsenal, he conceded a penalty, was sent off and arguably cost his team the title”.
Its Sad to read stuff like that.

@rami; dont feel sorry for him, hell bounce back, heared he was looking for a new club..sometimes these things happen, you can get unlucky, get of to a bad start and never really catch up..remember, in a team like Chelsea there is no room for slowing down cause theres always a good player right behind you, hell be back im sure..

I don’t like you all make fun of me. I mean well. I like football too and I thought I could make my opinion here. How long you will make Dick Nannaga jokes on me? You don’t see the wonder of football. I think Nanninga was wonderful. Tall, not famous superstar like Clarence Seedorf today. No Ferrari or sunglasses or supermodel wife but hardworking and scoring in WC finals.
