Too funny :-)

I’m sorry… This has nothing to do with Davids, Oranje, Jan Wouters, Marco van Basten, Robin van Persie or Johan Cruyff. It’s this I Hate Ronaldo website. Hilarious! They show footage of that Rooney red card and Ronaldo winking at his coach after Wayne’s dismissal… And they have great little images and puns… Couldn’t help but laughing…

Jan, its all coming out towards the end of the WC; I am a girl too, and Goose I think is at least a tranny. U idiot, I believe is a boy pretending to be female for sympathy.
Did everyone see Ronoldo (the big girls blouse) dive at the end of the 1st half? He wasn’t touched and managed to twist towards the referee with his arms out and that stupid pleading look on his face, before he even landed. Scolari has really perfected the cheating aspect of his teams game, well done!
@u idiot, the ball from Figo and nuno gomes goal was very pretty, thats about all I can give you; that was the only exception to an otherwise typically shitty Portuguese performance, the other goal was nice too except into your own net.
Watching Oliver Kahn tonight makes me think that Van der Sar has 5 more years left in him and I still don’t see a better alternative for Oranje.

@ mara1ona, So the first game went according to plan but I’m going the other way on the Frace/Italy game. Though, the thing that really worry’s me about taking France, is the situation in goal; Buffon is so good and Barthez is ssooo bad.
If Coupet were in I would feel much better. But the defence looks good with Thuram and Gallas and I believe the French have an edge in offence. Going with France in 90. Feels perilous.

Guys(LOL), moehahahahha ’shocking’ news Jan(mean it) !!!(never noticed), tell me the secret of your knowledge on football..

sorry to dissapoint you all but i am just a man (and dutch), no suprises here…

lets (for once) thank ze Germans for there win over our new enemies the Portugays, lets hope for a decent final, my money’s on Italy…

dont you guys think its obvious that the referees have totally different instructions since the quarters, in both the semis they had a very difficult time finding their cards! Looked like they were very eager not to let anybody miss the final cause of a second yellow… alas…

again some great diving by Ronaldo today.. you girls enjoyed it too??(LOL)

Hi to those in Holland from the UK.

Oh, Ronaldo what a dive against Germany tonight and his face caught on camera as he sailed through the air imploring the referee. I almost wet myself laughing and it was better than his dive against France. Definitely the best dive of the tournament.

Looks like he ain’t comming back to the UK which is a pity. The booing of the crowd expressing their disapproval in the semi would be nothing compared to the booing he would get at every ground in the country. Still he’s chickened out so people will have to wait till he comes with his new team in A Euro game.

Oh yeah the great Ronaldo’s World Cup stats.

Played 7 games and over 30 shots but the only goal was a penalty aginst Iran (the one aginst England does not count in offical goal totals) and ZERO assists.

He’s the ultimate “show pony”.

Micha,
I am definetely a girl! I never pretend to be someone I am not! You should try that sometime!

I am very proud of Portugal’s efforts in this world cup and I had hoped for obvious reasons they would reach the finals. I know that the team is a talented one and I feel a little disappointed today, but hey I can lose gracefully!

I admit my heart was crushed this afternoon for the second time this world cup, but at least I learned a few things…

Especially that I am glad I have other things to fall on when my team lets me down, that my friends and I will take our chances and hope for the best this end of summer in Europe (cause i don’t believe all of the people of Holland are all hateful) and that whether or not the match was good, there will always be an opposing sore team!

I read somewhere that you have not made it to the top unless you are hated! I guess its true.

I just think that its alot of wasted energy to hate I rather learn all that I can about different aspects of cultures, lives, teams. But that’s just me.

I hold nothing to heart anymore, thank you for your time. By the way, my father died in Holland, did I ever tell you that’s the reason I want to go there?

Goodbye or Adeus, that’s how we say it in Portuguese!

And does that apply to us too? I mean if we are so hated by portuguese fans on this blog, does that mean we have made it to the top?

Back to football talk, saw the tape today for the #3 match between Germany and Portugal - 2 teams I hate the most (Portugal took the place of Argentina).

Another good match, it’s very refreshing to see this Germany team playing like this under Klinsmann, (as much as I hate to say this) they have a very bright future and should be a strong contender for Euro 2008. Their youngsters Lahm and Podolski we have seen but today I also saw brilliance in Schweinsteiger and Kehl, all of whom are still very young. Frings was also brilliant today and they looked much better without Ballack (who I think was not effective at all against Italy).

Kudos to Juergen Klinsmann, who is much more likeable now as a coach than when he was diving (I meant, playing).

And for the first time, Germany is not the team I hate the most anymore - Portugal easily took their place (yes, that’s right after they took Argentina’s place as my #2 most hated team).

Also just noticed that C. Ronaldo is very predictable and a one-trick pony. Always speeding in one straight direction and loses the ball with just soft touches by his markers. And of course in a Ronaldo fashion, he ran into Metzelder, fell and claimed for penalty (with Scolari acting up on the sideline). Disgusting! The boo-es everytime Ronaldo touched the ball in the last couple matches show what “calibre” of a player he is. It’s not only us Oranje fans who hate him.

Again, for the first time (as much as it pains me to say), I’m happy for the Germans this year. Team USA would be glad if Klinsi agrees to coach here as rumored.

Ya, all I see in Ronaldos game is run the ball into uncontested midfield space for about 25 feet, do a bunch of totally unwarranted step-overs when the defence closes in, lose the ball when challenged, dive, and cry for penalty. Repeat 10 times throughout the game. And get booed for being a dirty cheat. The Portuguese recipe for shameful football.

To U IDIOTS:
I salute you, fellow woman and fellow Portuguese. I’m sorry to hear about your father. If I can offer you some advice, since I’m a slightly older “girl”, I’d say go to the Netherlands and honor his memory. This was just a football game.
As for the male posters here, well, what did you expect? They probably feel we women are invading their little world and went into panic.
Decided to check some other teams blogs before signing out for good of this championship. Stumbled upon this post from the Netherlands. I too do not understand this hate and generalization. Talked it over with a Dutch friend, he explained things get very hot there, even in local games. In PT too, but with just a bit less violence. So it’s sort of normal that the Dutch will steam out like this. But what they don’t understand is that they are steaming out with people that don’t react like that (he hate, we hate, we hate), so they will receive an odd reply from people like me or you - we get dissapointed, we don’t understand this degree of verbal violence, we don’t understand this prolonged hatred that can last for decades if it must. Over a football game. Just a football game.
It is a bit silly.
To Jan: actually, that picture of Cristiano Ronaldo is rather cute. I don’t find him really good-looking (he resembles most boys his age here, no great looks), but if I were you, I’d stop oggling him. His girlfriend is a rather jeaulous woman, so I’m told (no, he’s not gay - Surprise).

Micha, Micha, Micha,

I am broken hearted because Portugal lost! I really could care less if you guy or gays are girls or boys! I don’t really think you are sure of that yourself?

Portugal made some mistakes during the German game, but lets not forget that we played without two key players, Carvalho and Miguel! Of course, Petit made a huge mistake, but he is not the first or the last. As for C.Ronaldo I actually don’t think he minds the booing! I think I mind it more…i would like just go up to him and hold him and give him a big kiss…anyway, back to the game…kinda hard to complete any play with 3 or 4 defenders on you…he played beautifully! I love him…don’t be mean! He’s so cute…I could just jump on him!
Yummy yummy!

He has great powerful legs, beautiful skin, beautiful eyes, great broad shoulders, awesome rearend!

Micha as for the hating comments…i have not seen any on this blog, at least not by me that’s for sure…I leave the hating to you and the loving to me!

What are you all gonna do now that its over?!

@ u-idiot, I am going back to work as a prostitute in the red light district. And my day job, operating the hate Ronoldo web site. I think this world cup has destroyed Ronoldo’s career, not that it was so great anyway. But competitons like wc have a way of doing this. A great performance in the WC can get you noticed and signed by big clubs; or in cases such as C Ronaldo’s, it can focus the worlds attention on your short-comings.
Do you know that FIFA stated when they gave the best young player award to Lukas Podolski, that while C. Ronoldo was the popular fans pick, they could not honour that sentiment, do to his “antics on the pitch”.
No doubt all the voting was from Portugal fans and young ladies that think C. Ronoldo is hot, yuck!
Point is his stock has suffered greatly and the residual effects on his career could be very ominous; perhaps he will have to go play in the MLS? Then you can jump him when he gets booed off the pitch over there. Best of luck to you, not to him, he deserves everthing he’s got coming.
