Three out of Five ain’t bad…

December 18th, 2008 | By: Jan | 2 Comments »

Heerenveen and Feyenoord are out! And even worse, Feyenoord even lost the last game in an empty De Kuip, 0-1. It seemed the fans silently accepted the loss, which might mean they are actually getting used to it.

But, Ajax and Twente are through as we all knew, and a historic win of NEC over Udinese (2-0) made sure Mario Been’s boys’ dream is still not over either.

NEC is through as well, which means we have three teams in the UEFA Cup to cheer for.

Looking forward to the draw now… More later, my friends…

It’s still hard to believe that NEC got through over Heereveen and Feyenoord, I figured they would get at least third in the groups.
