This weekend’s news, Clarence back in Oranje
Yep, it has happened, as Daniel posted. Marco called Clarence. “Wesley is injured. Got a kick on the knee. Are you game?” Officially, we don’t know yet if Clarence will actually come, or that he tricked Marco in inviting him, so he could at last officially say NO to Oranje .
But no, I guess the Milan star will come and hopefully Marco will not bench him, only to let him do a 30 minute warming up in the second half and not use him, just to humiliate him.
Ruud van N. scored 4 times last Sunday and is sitting next to the phone.
Van Persie was succesful against Liverpool (3-0) with an assist and PSV sneakily beat Ajax (1-0, Simons) in a game where Ajax was the more dominating team, with a major role for Dane Ken Perez. But Ajax couldn’t score, so PSV tops the charts for now, Ajax is second with one point less and AZ third with one point less than Ajax. Feyenoord won a goal-fest against Willem II (3-5) and clims back to number 5 in the Dutch league.

Too bad he doesnt play well.
But ok, I accept him. van Bommel we definitely do not need, while Ruud could be a nice addation though its not really necessary.

@ferenc, hope that also BUT Seedorf has played lousy with Milan everytime he plays in Holland or against a dutch team, i hope he wont be under to much pressure and that this is not his only chance

na jus bring back ruud not van bommel! lets jus hope van basten doesnt play players in the wrong positions! like boularouz should be at centre back not right back, and kuyt upfront not on the wing!!

Yes! Hope it works well! watched the superb shot of Seedorf which crashed against the post in the Roma-Milan match. He’s a really at doing long shots, and his overall play is also really good.
Just heard van Persie won’t play? whose replacing him?
and who gonna be the defensive midfield?? Lanzaat, De Jong???

hopefully not lanzaat he hardly gets a game 4 wigan he cant start 4 the dutch

We rather expect Seedorf start than to call up RVN & Bommel.
If it happens both Vaart and Clarence to start, who could be new Cocu? We have Schaar, Maduro, Sno and Silva for that role.
Basten has brought in too many holding mid-fielders. That means, more likely to lay two holders and one No. 10 in front of them at the mid-field.
In this way Vaart will start and Seedorf on the bench.

i think with seedorf s experience, i think van basten can risk it and make both seedorf and vdv play together at the same time.
Not sure he will do it though??
Is it even confirmed that he is coming back ?
furthermore what about sneijder? how deep in is he injureD?
… Starting to get that feeling again when Oranje is about to play soon …

It seems Stijn Schaars will partner van der Vaart, in the middle as the holding player, though there could also be room for Clarence Seedorf.
Sneijder, de Jong and van Bronckhorst are out due to injury, while striker Robin van Persie has been granted leave of absence as his wife Bouchra is expecting their first child…
A win i think will be difficult, as without van Persie, the team looks fringer…
