Thierry Henry signs for Barca…
Thierry Henry, the formidable French Arsenal striker, will move to Barcelona for 4 seasons. The Spanish side payed 24 Mio Euros for his services. Last season, after the CL finals, it was rumoured that the striker would move to Spain, but he wanted to stay loyal to the Gunners and coach Wenger. This year, he said, he was fed up with always ending up at the fourth spot in the EPL. “I want to win cups and titles. I think I have more chances at Barcelona.”
Since no strikers will leave Barca, it’s going to be tough at the top for Messi, Ronaldinho, Eto’o and Henry. Laporte, Barca’s chairman, suggested that Henry’s signing would at least put some pressure on his star trio.

this means that there is going to be a lot of pressure on van persie to be the main goal machine! he has a real chance now to become the star at arsenal and get himself on a similar level as bergkamp, henry, wright etc

I’m afraid that won’t help VP. He’s still so young.

Big, big loss to the Arsenal…maybe Wenger will go aswell…always liked Henry, esp. cause he always says that Bergkamp is the best he ever played with

losing Henry from arsenal was the greatest shock ever… now fabregas would be sold off by next season as the owner wanted to sell him off long time back, but arsene wanted to keep him..if now wenger is moving towards real madrid…den derz no chance for fab to remain in arsenal:(
