The Return of Ruud

Marco van Basten kept absolute faith in Ruud and look what happened. Ruud finished off a superb Dutch chance and thus got his first World Cup goal ever. You bet he was happy. Read below for my partner in crime’s post on Ruud’s “Tears of Joy” for more on that.

Now van Basten thinks van Nistelrooy will reach that menacing level that will have world defences quaking at the thought of Ruud lining up in front of them. I heartily agree and hope he’s right.
