Sports Illustrated’s Take on the World Cup

Well, Sports Illustrasted have given us their expert analysis on Holland’s World Cup hopes: “Netherlands could win it all — or flop spectacularly” True, this sums up Holland, as well as any other talented side.

Truelly the most impressive aspect of the article is the line-up predictions. SI has Ruud van Nistelrooy, Dirk Kyut, and Oscar Award Nomine Arjen Robben up front. I like the 4-3-3 option. I also like that the article gives Robben a little dig for diving. All in all worth a quick read.

Also has an intersting picture of Arjen, who is a dead ringer for Heath Ledger.

I think SI has got it more or less right on. There might be some contention for the midfield places but more or less I think thats a world-class team.

Yea, I wish I would see Edgar Davids name on that list. I think he keeps that team together. I’ll be very disapointed if he isn’t selected.

Rutergus is Ruud’s first name that he was born with. It is of Dutch origin and his mum chose it.
