The players is being confronted with setbacks in his domestic life (his wife left him and went back to Holland, due to Sneijder’s alleged affair with a Spanish beauty, according to the tabloids…). “I don’t care what they write here. They say I go out a lot. But I don’t. When we’ve won and we don’t have a training the next day, the group goes out for a drink. That’s all. I don’t like to see those stories in the Dutch media. My family reads all that and they invent the stories from scratch…”
