Sing your Heart out

Let’s make sure we’re all on the same page. List your favourite chants, songs or little phrases you like to shout at the poor souls the Dutch happen to be battering that day. Here’s a song written by a Dutch band, sung in German, about how the Dutch are going to beat Germany again just like when Marco van Basten beat Jurgen Klinsmann way back when. It’s a little scary sounding but then again what doesn’t sound scary in German?

Example:
English - “Can I hold your hand?”
German - “Kann ich ihre hand halten?”

English - “You make my heart flutter like a butterfly.”
German - “Sie lassen mein herz wie ein schmetterling flattern.”

Doesn’t that just make you weak at the knees? Alright I shouldn’t make fun. Dutch sounds like your talking with something lodged in your throat.
