Sep Blatter: Ban the Panadinha!! ( I say: ban Sepp!)

October 2nd, 2009 | By: Jan | 10 Comments »

Not sure if you knew this… You may read it here first. As you do with so many things :-) .

Anyway, the Panadinha.

Something that will fly in from Brazil, without a doubt. It’s a penalty, but then with a tremendous circus trick added to it. It’s probably bending the rules a bit ( you know, the one-flow movement debate and all that) but those silly Brazilians want to do it more spectacular all the time.

The fun thing, though… By focusing on their showponyness, they sometimes fail to score, hahaa…

It’s a bit of fun, it’s having a laugh, it’s taking the mickey, it’s harmless (as opposed to those horrible South African tooters ).

But, Sepp Blatter won’t have any of this. Football is not supposed to be entertaining, you see.

In all honesty, I haven’t even thought about whether it should be allowed or not, but since Seppke is against it, I am all for it :-) .

Take a look!

seems illegal to me

Jan i like how you go against sepp but i actually agree with him

i want to shed some light on this issue of can we play eredivisie players
in our national team. The answer is yes for me.

Look at elia. he has lit up the bundisleague after playing in the eredivisie last year (same with van der vaart) Also think about wesley sneijder who was very good for madrid in his first season. (or RVN) I think the best players in the eredivisie (afellay, de zeeuw, v.d. wiel) can easily make the step up.

afellay is good enough to play on top teams.

for me we shouldn’t judge the eredivisie too hard, besides psv twente are leading their groups and ajax would be too if they had held on.

i think PSV or ajax will go to the semi finals of uefa

Sepp Blubber is a waste of time.

Remember this is the same guy that seriously suggested that women should play soccer in tiny sexy outfits. Trust me, I’m not against that at all, but I don’t know many female soccer enthusiasts and players that are fine with it.

This is the same guy who wants 5 refs standing around doing nothing, but will not approve a scientific device which many sports are comfortable with to use to determine if the ball has crossed the line or not.

This is the man who bought himself an election.

This is the man who thinks he can introduce rules in soccer that are blatant violations of international and EU labour laws in particular.

This little Swiss fellow suffers from a severe case of Napoleon syndrome.

The game of soccer will not improve until the scheming little guy takes his hat and leaves.

Can someone help me out? I’m confused. I just read that the only planned friendly we have this year after Australia is Italy. What happened to Paraguay? Did I miss something?

Hehe….Leave it to Finnster to call a spade a spade. I was scrolling upwards, read the words Sepp Blubber and guessed that the comment must’ve been from our straight-talking friend.

Paraguay – Nov 18 Herenveen stadium.
@Finn This is the same guy who announced that the winner of the Oceania group would qualify directly into the WC only to take his word back 6 months later. “Sad Blabber”

What’s this business about a friendly against Italy then? This is the first time I’ve heard about it. I guess that one is not official yet then (the article did mention something about Italy having to be qualified first).

Yes Italy is on the cards once they qualify and dont have a play off to go through. We are also lining up Brazil or Argentina. This is a favour as we helped Brazil get the Olympics and well in case u dont know our future Queen is Argentinian.
