Ruud van Nistelrooy clip

Man, we’ve got to miss Van the Man for months!!

So here’s the first “greatest hits” clip. Ruud in his PSV days.

The man can score goals. Solo dribbles, distant strikers, headers, sitters, everything… Look out for Genius Nilis and a young Van Bommel.

Oh…and only for adult viewers… the horrible injury (on the Herdgang during training) is on here as well…

Disturbing.

But, we know now he came back. And the avenger will be back once more.

I bet you all my Citibank shares that he’ll play for Oranje in South Africa!!!

thanks for the clip Jan (though i hate clips with stupid songs)

Ruud should be respected esp. for getting the maximum out of his (limited) talent; and a true gentleman / sportsman …. not a spoiled little brat like most stars

“I bet you all my Citibank shares that he’ll play for Oranje in South Africa!!! hahaha .. but i COULD happen

Terrific articles regarding van Nistelrooy, Jan–I did not know he had so badly, again, injured his right knee. As Goose said so well, I do hope that he returns as he is, indeed, a “class act” and the game will miss him badly if he now has to end his career. Knees are a very strange part of our human anatomy, but Steadman is highly regarded, so Ruud is in the right place to have another chance.

Touching tribute to RVN, Jan. He deserves that. One spirit as I’ve seen few times on football.

I like the video, for most stranger it seems, because that was the 1st time I watched the injury. Really horrible. There’s a Brazilian beach volley player – a girl – who was already guaranteed on the Olympics this year, and she had big medal chances with her partner, but she injured his knee while training at Paris. And the way she injured it looks a lot like Ruud. Bad, very bad.

Great that Sir Alex Ferguson had the decency of waiting for him. And, at least in my opinion, he got his reward…

And it would be awesome to watch “Van Gol” wearing again the nº 9 Orange shirt! I believe!

@Goose (how bad for FC Den Haag this weekend! A goal against on last minute!): you said about Ruud being a gentleman and a sportsman. I remembered what I read on Daily Telegraph about Sar: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/manutd/3460467/Edwin-van-der-Sars-goal-is-to-stop-obesity-in-schools-Football.html That’s why I like this lad!

@Jan, hahahahah!! Your shares in Citibank to return to last years level is about as likely as I am to hooking up with Oranje Angel in South Africa in 2010. I think even Ruud Van Goal is more likely to get back in one piece than that!!

Seriously Jan, I hope you don’t have too many shares in that outfit. You know they are in big trouble, and maybe we all should have listened to the Japanese a long time ago because they seem to know what they are talking about. When you speak to them, I guess due to a few English pronounciation issues they call them “ShittyBank”.

Always creates a laugh on the floor when you put them on the speaker. :-) We don’t have many laughs anymore, but that is one of them…Sad really…

@Finn – that’s right, in Japanese there is no “si” sound, only “shi”, that’s why “city” sounds like “shiti” (or even “shichi”, depending on the speaker’s English level)… so you can sometimes hear some amusing accents :-P
