Ruud is Worried

March 29th, 2006 | By: Matt | 3 Comments »

With Ruud van Nistelrooy currently tied for most goals scored in the EPL, yet benched by his manager; Ruud is seeking assurance from the Dutch national coach. Apparently Ruud called van Basten in frustration as reported by teammate Edwin van der Sar.

I think it is time for Ruud to part ways with United. He could start for almost any other team in the Premiership.

I think the difference though is that Ruud does not want to start for any other Premiership club. Ruud has never said he was unhappy. I think its important that he was more worried about the World Cup than being unhappy or wanting a move away.

And besides he has started against West Ham this afternoon.

Hey, Ruud should stay if he wants. This is just a dangerous time to be benched if you want to make a WC side.

With van Basten, you never know. This whole Man U situation could have cost him his Holland starting spot. Which would be good reason to find another club.

He put one in to get the 3 points. Sir Alex should be satisfied and we can put this one to bed.

I hope so; the Dutch need an in-form Van Nistelrooy
