Ruud hanging on

In the blackness that has covered Ruud van Nistelrooy’s career at Manchester United there still remains a glimmer of hope. Hope for the man and his career. Am I the only one who thinks Ruud van Nistelrooy is just a nice guy who loves the club he plays for but understands and accepts the life of football? Ruud is going to put the Oranje first and foremost in his mind this June (and hopefully the beginning of July) and decide on his future afterwards.

Meanwhile Marco van Basten is absolutely confident in Ruud’s ability to lead the line and lift the Oranje towards World Cup glory.

hmm…Ruud is a smart cookie and so is his manager… I think Ruud doesn’t want to rock the boat and by claiming his future at ManU isn’t over per se, he hopes that Fergie will loosen up and lower Ruud’s pricetag, since everyone knows Ruud does not have a future are ManU anymore. Sad, but true. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Crespo leaves Chelsea and the Chosen One picks up Ruud. It’s clear that Ruud is not worried and is cool and collected. With his standing and records and all, he knows he’ll find a good club, he is financially in the black, the ManU fans adore him… Why worrie?

Saying the same thing really. There are going to be a lot of stories linking RvN with clubs and rumours of reconcilliation with MUFC. He will be aware of that and know there is no point in considering any of it until after the WC.
