Real Madrid wants Sneijder

July 11th, 2007 | By: Jan | 5 Comments »

Real’s new manager Bernd Schuster wants to sign Wesley Sneijder. Ajas hasn’t confirmed this rumor yet, but where Sevilla walked away Schuster is keen to add the midfielder to his group. Saviola, who played six seasons for rival Barca, already made the move to the Spanish capital.
Madrid also wants to sign Arjen Robben but Mourinho has - again - confirmed he does not want the former Groningen star to leave Chelsea.

The Babel Liverpool move gets more and more realistic. Liverpool upped the offer for the Ajax star and Babel is very keen to talk to the Reds.

Ajax and PSV are continuing their talks regarding a move of Ken Perez to the City of Lights. Ajax blocked his move at first, but now Feyenoord doesn’t seem to be interested in Perez - and vice versa - Ajax seems to chose eggs for their money… Dutch expression :-).

John de Jong is offered a new contract at PSV for a year. The talented midfielder hasn’t played for two years due to injuries gets a chance to prove his worth.

Rafael van der Vaart will not move away from HSV this season, but this will be his last so it seems… The North German club realises that van der Vaart is too good for them and if he plays an impressive EC next year, there is no stopping Raf…

Ajax should take the money and run…im still not convinced that Sneijder has it to go all the way to the top, not cause of lack of talent but just cause hes too small for international football.. dont get my wrong, hes very talented, almost perfect on 2 feet, great reader of the game but remember that in Holland things are much easier than abroad, defenders are not so brutal…with Saviola already making the move to Real why should they want another ‘migdet’on midfield (Saviola is like 2 foot high)

but ok, if there was any leguea were a player of Sneijders hight would work it would be Spain.. my guess is Sneijder will play in Holland next season..well see

DeJong; almost forgot about him, this is a guy i actually ‘know’personaly, hes a friend of a good friend of mine, he doenst live in Den Haag anymore so i havent seen im in years (so much for the knowing part, haha)
i was talented but hes in his 30 now so the talented thing has gone..good player for the dutch competition, had some bad luck..

@Jan: did you miss the M. Mols move to Feyenoord?? havent heared anything form you about it??

Goose: Jan mentioned Mols in a post a couple of days ago…

I think Sneijder would do best in Italy where you get more time with the ball.

Yep, Babel seems to be a done deal. Kuyt and Babel together. Exciting duo. MvB will love that. He won’t like the 4-4-2 at Liverpool though… Benitez is an amateur :-)!
