Questionmarks for Van Basten

The Oranje selection came together for the two remaining qualification fixtures: Luxembourg and Belarus. Oranje only needs two points from the maximum of six to qualify. Two draws would do the job .

Five players didn’t train on the first session day due to little injuries. Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wesley Sneijder and Demy de Zeeuw – all starters normally – came to the camp with muscle injuries. Danny Koevermans and Kew Jaliens suffer slight calf issues.

Wilfred Bouma came back with trouble as well but decided to do an individual training. Bouma expects to be able to play both matches.

Coming Saturday Oranje plays Luxembourg in a packed De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam. Four days later the away game in Belarus is planned.
