Never before has an Englishman had to put on a pale blue and white striped shirt and look so happy!!! The dutch fans were absolutely fantastic with us. They sung they danced...the atmosphere in Frankfurt, not the game made it special. Apparently the atmosphere in Stutgart was better, but for us the Dutch were great....everything was orange...mobile phone holders that looked like orange lions, orange spiky hats that were made to look like funny german hats?, orange trousers, shoes, sunglasses...As for the football, Holland made Argentina look average...not the unbeatable team the English newspapers let you believe.
