Princess Maxima supports Argentina

June 21st, 2006 | By: Jan | 7 Comments »

Argentinian born Dutch Princess Maxima will support Oranje “professionaly” and the Gauchos with her heart… Marco van Basten was asked what his feelings were on that… He smiled and said: “Well, I am already happy and satisfied our Crown Prince supports us at least… What more can you ask?”

I know, it’s a lame post, but I just loved that picture :-).

Aaah…be gentle with her. She is nice. You know, you can take the fgirl out of Argentina, but you can’t take Argentina out of the girl :-)

Argentina will kick you butts miserably. Our second unit is better than your regular team. You must be high if you think your soft orange team can beat this argentine team tha takes no crap from no body, especially the orange.

Netherlands made a good job! we have seen a nice game with good foot-ball. Of course Argentina had more chances to win more offensive and not to often Netherlands…anyway, I respect Netherlands. Both gain nice results!

@ ZaMan:

You were completely right!

Argentina never stopped scoring against us.

And we never had any possesion of the ball.

Damn, those Serbia&M players must think that they didn’t do that bad against Argentina now. Because they only got 6 goals against and we were beaten silly with all those goals.

See you again in the final when both teams are at full strength!
Ow wait, we are playing against Germany.

I was lucky enough to get tickets to the game with my Argentinian wife. Never before has an Englishman had to put on a pale blue and white striped shirt and look so happy!!! The dutch fans were absolutely fantastic with us. They sung they danced…the atmosphere in Frankfurt, not the game made it special. Apparently the atmosphere in Stutgart was better, but for us the Dutch were great….everything was orange…mobile phone holders that looked like orange lions, orange spiky hats that were made to look like funny german hats?, orange trousers, shoes, sunglasses…As for the football, Holland made Argentina look average…not the unbeatable team the English newspapers let you believe. The world cup can be anyones!!! MAXIMA, MAXIMA, MAXIMA
