Play Off 1st Leg Results

AZ draws against FC Twente (1-1) in the first leg of the play-offs at Twente’s Arke Stadium.

Cziommer scored the first goal in the first half. After the break Kennedy (can’t remember his difficult surname but he signed a contract for Ajax) equalized out of a free kick. AZ was the better of the two but couldn’t add more goals to the Cziommer tap in.

Ajax lost the first leg against Heerenveen in the Heerenveen Abe Lenstra Stadium (1-0). Ajax dominated the play, but Heerenveen had the best chances.

Next week the return legs are planned, both AZ and Ajax playing at home.
