i am usually late to write in this blog but i don care
its 10 minutes to 3 in kathmandu in the afternoon of course. i came here in college at 10.30 in the morning and everyone was congratulating me. i am one of the very few Oranje fans in the college. Everyone in here is talking about Wesley , Orlando and Van Bronckhorst and van der sar. A fren of mine who is a fan of chelsea and also italy was stunned so much with khalid’s game that he cudnot biliv it was the same boulah a year back playing at chelsea. He was like- i thot it was another guy named Boulahrouz. everyone. everyone is like ” What a team .. What a game” Wow feels really great to b a Holland fan.
Best two days in my life so far. Yesterday and today. And i know there r many more to come. but so far these two days have been great really great.
i dont have many words to express but u kno after many years say after 30 or 40 years. when i become older i can recall this day and share with the people around- frens or relatives- June 9 2008 we had tharshed the italians i had a great time in front of my tv.
This is such a moment i wont be able to forget.
Icame here and read all those comments one guy saying : wen holland scored the second i was crying. well this is an emotional sentence. since i was at home and mom and dad were sleeping i cud not shout but i did everything except screaming as if i was the goal scorer
Wow!!! What a game !! i was stunned to see Heitinga on the bench but.. Khalid had a gret game Kuyt and van der vaart wesley and gio were at their best. I feel they r so hungry to succeed. But dont get carried away guys . we have many more games to come. Every game is a new one and lets take one game at a time . france is no italy. In fact france were weaker against romania but they will come back stronger on friday i guess.
Bring them on !!

we can boast 2 worldclass midfielders wesley and rafael behind the central striker. this is our strength. hope to see the same momentum in the matches to come. the combination was really great wesley did move a bit central allowing gio to down the flanks. Its a great combination guys wesley and rafael at centre. look at some of those touches from van der vaart and then leaving the ball to van persie wen he got a pass from gio later in the match but robin was offside
Dont get carried away Marco we have many games to come just keep to cool and take one game at a time and the most important thing is to keep the players fit and fresh

Thanks for these pics Jan,
perhaps the greatest football moment in my life, especially for a Dutchman living in Italy.
My mother, sisters and I were shouting like madmen in front of the screen and we were all really really happy for Giovanni and Edwin. They deserve all the praise!

What a team, if we manage to play like this against France no reason why we can’t dream.

Match Holland - Italy.
This Match EndScore is to good to be true !
People did Black Magic ( VOODOO ) on ITALY, because they are jealous that Italy is World Champion.
Captain Cannavaro get injured and cannot play, also by Black Magic.
And the Referree was very generous to Holland, also because of Sneijders birthday, so he gave them this match as a present, also by giving Italy the yellow cards instead of Holland.
This is the first time in history that Holland got this onrealistic miracles score of 3-0 against Italy.
So this miracle is definitely the cause of Black Magic !
I wish the Italy team & Cannavaro very goodluck, and may God Bless them all to become the winner of this UEFA EURO 2008 !

Italians are moaning a lot but they do forget that there could have been red cards for Gattuso and Materazzi and that there could have been a penalty had RvN not continued running and two dangerous free kicks were not given in the second half. I think the ref was fair. And I still believe the first goal was legit. Panucci and Buffon were like clowns and it’s their problem.

it is funny to see dutch fans from the curry eating country nepal glory hunting..I still maintain that it was a fluke result, the first goal an offside the other two on counter attacks which can happen only once in 100 times..iam eagerly awaiting the prospect of meeting the dutch in the semi finals so that we can show who are the world champs..enjoy ur moment of glory because u need it…by the way, iam supproting holland when they play France because we italians badly need a rematch in the semis…repeating agains, counterattack goals has the whole world suddenly gloating about the dutch , but let us see in the semis

@Franco; please fuck off and leave our fans alone…why the f do you care anyway?? are you angry cause we dutch have fans from all over the world??

always funny with these italians; all talk… but when things really start to happen they run off like the little faggots they are

you italians had your moment, say 2000 years ago long before your crappy country was invented..what has your country done the last 500 years?? just running away…thats it

now go to your bearded mother and cry!!!! (its obvious that italians are half african anyway, they should not play at the EC

Fluke result? Which game were you watching?

And what semi’s are you talking about, WC2010? Because with that goal difference you have there will be no second round for you lot. There is no Zidane for Materazzi to abuse anymore either, in fact I find it very likely the Romanians will have some pasta for lunch as well.

Never knew Italians were such sore losers. I would have thought that with your experience from WWII and Ethiopia, you would be able to handle losses far better as you should be used to it, but I guess I was very wrong indeed.

franco; one more thing. If I were you I would be more concerned about the next 180 minutes of football you have a against the french and the romanians. To be talking about getting revenage against Orange in the semi final is a tad premature considering your teams current shape.

Anyway i must say it has been an impressive game from the dutchies, we played very bad..but..it was just the beginning maybe italian faggots pizzas mafias will be raising the cup in 20 days and the beautiful loyal civilized great dutchies will be on holiday in a few days who knows? It happened yet a lot of times.
