They deserved it. Remember, they finished 2nd in the league and should be going to the CL anyway. AZ just choked all the way thru. They could not win the league(tho handed to them on a silver platter), could not win the cup(to a 10 man Ajax), and could not score in Amsterdam. That's a miserable failure on all three fronts. btw, I glad for Davids and Stam, two of my favorites. Congrats to Ajax. They deserved it.
