Oranje goes Asia!

In the summer break – right after this season – Marco van Basten will take his group to a tour around Asia. Oranje will play two matches, against South Korea (June 2) and against Thailand (June 5). In the next couple of days San Marco will announce the names of the group. Edwin van der Sar won’t travel with the Dutch team. He prolonged his availability for Oranje on the condition that he could skip friendlies whenever he wants to, and this trip is one of them. Clarence Big Buddha Seedorf won’t make the trip either. The 3 times CL winner is expecting his first baby in June and asked Marco for permission to stay at home.

We’ll follow our boys on their little Asian trip, so watch this space…
