Orange titbits…

Having ignored all football news during the CL semi finals, here some updates from Holland:

1. Erwin Koeman leaves Feyenoord immediately. The older brother of Ronald declared that he can’t motivate himself anymore. Assistants Metgod and Duut will coach Feyenoord in the UEFA cup qualifier against FC Groningen. (More on Feyenoord later).

2. PSV and Ronald Koeman hope to patch things up. Chairman Schuitema said that the chance is big that Koeman will stay, but they do have to clear up some stuff before it’s 100%.

3. Phillip Cocu is courted heavily by Sydney FC (yes, our Sydney FC here in Oz).

4. Rafael van der Vaart “only stays in Hamburg if they will make something happen there”… Whatever that means….

5. Ronald de Boer (36 years old) signed on for another year at Qatar. Brother Frank is youth coach at Ajax at the moment.
