RuudI caught the last 35 minutes of the United ‘Boro game and if van Nistelrooy is going to play like that in Germany than he might as well pack his golf clubs and leave his boots at home. He missed a penalty against an unexperienced keeper. Not good enough.

George Boateng looked confident though.

VNS looks fully demotivated and unconfident. Sir Alex will have to pay what he did it to him. We may see different Vns in Basten’s hands.

I’ve kept faith the whole time that Ruud would get his starting spot back and find form again but he just looked flat.

Provided Makaay isn’t fast-tracked in order to play for the Germans, then ya. It’s looking like the Dutch are without an experienced in-form striker to lead the line. Very worrying.
