Bad news for Robin… The Arsenal maestro will be out for the rest of the season, according to Arsenal coach Wenger. On the Gunners’ website, he explained that the doctors explained that the more rest the injured foot of the gifted ex-Feyenoord star gets, the better it is. Van Persie broke a bone in his foot and Wenger stated that if he has the choice between using him for two matches at the end of the season or not using him at all, he’d go for the latter option since that would be best for Robin and Arsenal on the long run. Meaning next season of course . Probably best for Oranje too then…

My fave central defender’s son signed a contract with Ajax! Danny Blind’s 17-year old son Daley is moving up through the ranks of Ajax’ youth teams. The talented defender (!) has signed up and hopefully we’ll see him in Ajax 1 in a year or two. Or three. Or not at all, of course…
