New colors for Oranje

In football terms, Oranje is a force. The Orange army. Total Football. The fans, the weird clothes, the hats and caps… But sometimes, Oranje isn’t orange. Like next week in and against Belarus.

The Dutch team will wear their new away jersey. Nike designed a blue outfit for the EC. A nassau-blue shirt, king-blue shorts and white socks. It does fit in with tradition. Traditionally, Oranje away has always been either white or blue.

The colors of the Dutch flag, red-white-blue, will be worn on the chest in thin stripes. The new home-jersey will be presented in January 2008.

I like them but I would prefer to keep the classic white shirts with the diagonal stripes…

we better have orange shorts, socks and shirts not blue socks and black shorts or whatever.

Wow, you’re real fans, aren’t you :-) …

I love the retro look of last WC. I also like the white with the diagonal but I also adore the blue socks with the orange jersey and shorts :-)
