Siem de Jong celebrates his goal…

Four days after the spectacular win of Nederland B over Young Germany, the talented Italians couldn’t be defeated. The 1-1 end result was also the half time score.

Siem de Jong scored the 1-0 around the 20est minute. The Ajax midfielder reacted quickest on a Gianni Zuiverloon cross and headed Nederland B on the scoreboard.

Former PSV winger Roy Beerens got another huge opportunity but in his haste, he overhit the ball. They’re still looking for it in the stands…

Juve midfielder Giovinco scored the equalizer just before half time. Vitesse goalie Piet Velthuizen didn’t look flash with the out of the box attempt: 1-1.

In the second half, both teams couldn’t create anything. Neeskens’ boys did try to push up but Young Italy was happy to leave it as it was.
