Always a great fan of Kuyt, i know his technic is not that great but we have plenty of players who have a great technic, but they all lack the hart that Kuyt has.. everwhere he went he became a crowd favo., he walks 12 marathons each game and lets other strikers perform
agree that he should score more in the Pr.Leg. (thats why im so glad that when i went to see Liv. play v Villa he actually scored and scored on the side where i was seated..i went totally mad in my orange shirt and all the liv. fans were looking at me as if i were crazy, haha)

in the end i think we need players like Kuyt, we cant have all primadonnas!!

And he looks very dutch so thats a pre aswell, haha

A bit off the subject, but I have watched several Liverpool games from last year(my oldest son is a Liverpool fan), and I’m sorry to say, but Kuyt is not very good. His first touches are horrible, and his passing is average at best. He just runs around like a dog, and I guess that gets attention because coaches like the effort, but otherwise he seems to me to be pretty much lousy. Sometimes you need to work smarter and not harder. I think Oranje is in pretty bad shape if he even comes close to making the first 11. It’s nothing personal, it’s just what I see on the pitch. I never saw him play at Feyenoord, so maybe it is adjusting to a new league, but it is almost embarrasing to watch sometimes.

I think he will be the best player of the world some day, he has everything. His left foot is a killer and he can create danger from nothing.

Feyenord is asking for a lot of money, they have to realise that Drenthe hasn’t been at international level, he hasn’t played at professional level for many years so they can’t ask for that money. But I think it would be better for him to stay with feyenord for another year and learn from the experienced players.

@stephen; yeah, think its the one great advantace we have as a minor competition..we can be the learning ground for great players, even after the Bosman arrest..we had Romario, Ronaldo, all the great dutch players..the competition is difficult enough to take serious and easy enough to let young players learn their trade, think its one of the reasons so many young dutch players (24-25) are a succes in other competitions, theyve had time to learn how to play..its a real problem for young english players, they get to play in one of the best competitions right away with all that foreign competetion

@ferenc; why should Drenthe go to Depor?? interesting choise.remember when Makaay did his thing there?? think its great to have such a great striker back in Holland..hell make 20 at least!
